CAD Morphing

Usually in the design cycle, the simulations and the FE modeling are carried out once the concept CAD has been generated. Due to the necessity of reducing the concept design iteration, it will be significantly critical if the concept changes are made in the FE modeling itself causing the time required for CAD generation off cycle. Morphing, as the name would suggest, is an adaptation of giving shape to a new form.
During major concept design changes, a source of major time consumption is the time taken between the CAE teams and the design department. CAD Morphing can significantly reduce the CAD data generation time since the data can be fed from available existing donor CAD Data, and the Optimized Finite Element and CFD data can be communicated to the design department directly as morphed CAD data.
